Our Story
PICC + COZY was born from one family's journey through childhood cancer.
In December 2022, our founder Diane's six-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma. During months of treatment at SickKids Hospital, she relied on a PICC line that made even the simplest everyday moments, changing clothes, taking a bath, or simply being a carefree child, unexpectedly difficult.
Wanting to make life a little easier, Diane began modifying her daughter's clothing by hand, creating shirts that allowed nurses to access her PICC line without requiring her to undress. What started as a simple solution for one little girl quickly became an idea that could help countless others.
Two years later, Diane partnered with Amanda and Tanya to bring that vision to life. Together, they spent over a year designing garments that are comfortable, functional, and thoughtfully created for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals alike.
When the very first PICC + COZY shirts were donated to SickKids Hospital, the response from families and nurses confirmed what they had hoped: these garments were making a real difference.
Today, PICC + COZY is more than adaptive clothing. It's a brand built on compassion, resilience, and the belief that comfort matters during life's most challenging moments. Through every garment we create, and every donation we make, we hope to bring a little more dignity, comfort, and care to patients and their families.
